15 Weeks and Counting . . .
Good afternoon! I plan to do an official video post for this week (here's last week's if you're interested), but I've not been feeling well. In fact, I'm starting to wonder about the magical second-trimester stop to morning sickness I keep reading about . . . if it's real or not.
I thought I was feeling better. But the past couple of days I've been suffering on-and-off nausea. Oh, yeah. I also ate like an entire box of graham crackers, a package of Hershey's chocolate bars, and marshmallows. That's right: S'mores. It's like my new obsession.

Belly from the side:

I can tell I'm looking a bit more pregnant this week. I feel it more, too. Still, the number on the scale has stayed the same. I'm planning to talk to my midwife about it at Friday's appointment. I have a theory on why I'm not gaining much weight and I think it has to do with decreased physical activity, hunger not quite as intense (as during marathon training, for example), and muscle loss. We'll see what she says.
At this point, I know I'm eating well and not letting myself get hungry. So, I'm not terribly concerned.

Some other recent favorite foods:
- Nectarines
- Strawberries
- Garlic knots
- Pepper-Jack cheese
- Chocolate almond milk
- Fried tofu in coconut curry sauce
- Did I mention GARLIC KNOTS?! I love 'em!
That's it for now. I plan to cover more about all-things 15 weeks in the video post later in the week. Especially about all these dizzy spells I've been getting! I also wanted to thank you all for your kind words and emails. I know it seems I've been ambivalent about pregnancy lately. It's not that I'm not loving it -- I think I just hit a rough patch.

There's so much I'm excited about, including the nursery! It's starting to take shape. I wrote about how we cleared it out, at least a bit, on the main site this morning.
