Here are 5 things I wish I could be eating tonight. That is, IF I didn't have my 1-hour glucose test tomorrow morning. But the sad truth is that I have to watch my carb/sugar intake starting . . . now.

BRIE STUFFED-CRUST PIZZA
CHEESE AND APPLE BAGEL SANDWICH (let's face it -- anything on a bagel right now -- WANT!)
VEGGIE DUMPLINGS with a sweet sauce
RYE-PARMESAN SOFT PRETZELS
(VEGAN) CHOCOLATE-PEANUT BUTTER CUPCAKES
Instead, tonight I'll be eating a tomato-mozzarella salad with avocado and balsamic. Maybe some veggies. Just knowing I can't eat bread or sweets is making my stomach growl ferociously. Breakfast will be an egg or two.
Sigh. Wish me luck!
