Our Nature "Hike"

It's rare to get a semi-warm day in January around these parts. And by semi-warm, I mean above 20 degrees. So, we took full advantage -- starting with a tour of the backyard and continuing on with a little walk around the neighborhood.

Beats walking around the house.
Beats mall-walking.
Real. Fresh. Air.

I mention it in the video, but I did splurge on a Peekaru vest for chilly days. It should work for at least the first two winters. It's silly looking, but definitely functional. We bought a size that'll fit Stephen as well.

Underneath the vest, I'm wearing a really stretchy fleece hoodie, zipped over her Moby carrier. Toasty!

It's been a while since we did any video posts. You'll have to excuse the no-makeup and hair. Being a mom of a newborn (is she still considered a newborn?) sure does change things. At least during the week! But I'm not apologizing. :)
