Goodbye
Sigh. This is my last post on (never home)maker, baby! And I suppose it's fitting since Ada entered our lives exactly a year ago today. (Yeah. We know the date when we conceived. TMI? Eh. I'm sentimental.) Anyway, I wanted to say THANK YOU for following along. You have all been so incredibly thoughtful and helpful this past year (and beyond). Though I know I could have found my way on my own, having a supportive community of moms and other kind people was invaluable and comforting throughout the good, bad, and ugly.
Wow. I have no idea where this is coming from. But I just got insanely emotional. At this very moment. Maybe a photo will distract me.

Nope. That only made things worse -- but not in a bad way. I just can't believe how much my life has changed in a year. Sure. It's been rough at times. But when I look back on everything now, I feel an all-encompassing sense of contentment.
Ending this blog has me in tears.

This particular chapter might be ending . . . but we're already several pages into a new one. (And that's a bit of a hint at the new blog name!) OK. This might not be the last post on here. Because you have to stay tuned for one more with the info on the new site.
Till then . . .
